Concentration statement thing
My Idea for my concentration is a group of characters that are developed in an aesthetic way. The characters will be a group of Sky Pirates that are also street performers that live in a world that includes futuristic and old world aspects. I would go about this by creating 4-5 characters in detail on a sheet concentrating on the composition of the page itself. After the detail pages I would place the character in an environment that they would normally be found in their lives. And finally I would place all the characters together in different situations by showing how they would react to it and each other. The technical/ aesthetic aspects that I would work with the concentration include, but are not limited to, working on Dynamic compositions, and making the characters more naturalistic in their pose, proportion and gesture. What sparked my interest in this is the works of other artist working in the concept art field of videogames and movies, and also the people that create characters for the fun of it, like my self. Other artist I would look at for inspiration would be the artist of the Final Fantasy franchise, and other game artists, and contemporary artists that use the human figure to create an idea, such as Francis Bacon.
